I have never danced Tango, where do I start?
Do the In-Tango workshop, it's a great introduction to Tango and you can follow that up with a Beginner's course.

Do I have to bring a partner?
No you can come alone or with a party of 15 (but in the case of the latter please let us know so we can order extra sarnies for the workshop). We will be doing exercises in singles and couples. There is a chance that you will dance with someone of the same sex. We do swap partners as well whilst you are not forced to, it is better to do so. In the courses, booking in couples is being introduced and there has been a Google group set up for this if you can't persuade the girl-next-door or cat-sitter to come with you.

Which are the best type of shoes to wear?
Again comfort is important, but so are the soles. Make sure that the shoes are easy to glide across a floor in and don't grip too easily. You should be able to pivot in your shoes. Try to wear a shoe with a rounded front, pointed shoes will hurt your feet, slip ons will slip off.

I have never danced before, and I can't make the workshop...
You can book a private lesson at your convenience, then register for the beginner's course.

I have paid for my place online, what next?
You just need to turn up. Your confirmation is your Google Checkout receipt, please retain this as your proof of purchase and you will be asked to provide this.

I am having problems paying with Google Checkout.
Please send us an email and we can send you a payment request to pay online.

I just want to try one class.
If you want to try Tango then go for the In-Tango workshop, it's put together as an Introduction to Tango.

Are there any special clothes that I have to wear?
You don't have to wear any special clothes, just ones that you feel comfortable in. It would be an idea to wear something that you won't get too hot and that you can move in. Shoes are important, leather or suede soled or ones you can slide & pivot in. For women it's better not to wear tights as there is a warm up without shoes in the classes.

I have danced before, which course can I take?
If you have done some Tango, then let us know where, when, how long for, with who, what ideas you're familiar with and you will be advised of the best course to attend. Please be realistic as the courses are designed with your level in mind. Have a look at the explanation of the levels to get an idea of what is expected for each level.
